BBA (Hons)

Program objectives

The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program goal is to prepare students by providing them with the knowledge, skills and experiences needed to meet the challenges and opportunities of the contemporary business market. Specifically, this program strives to:

  • Develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts and theory of business practice.
  • Develop the ability to think critically and solve business problems.
  • Develop effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Develop leadership competencies and an entrepreneurial mindset. 

MBA

Program objectives

The Master of Business Administration (MBA) program goal is to prepare students for a successful business career in the contemporary business market. The objectives for this degree program are to:

  • Develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts and theory of business practice.
  • Develop qualitative and quantitative analytical abilities that will lead towards effective decision making.
  • Develop a global and entrepreneurial mindset, lead with integrity, purpose and ethical perspective.
  • Encourage self-improvement and professional growth among students.

 MS

Program objectives

The objectives of this program are to:

  • Produce outstanding teachers and researchers in their respective field of specialization.
  • Develop the ability to think critically and solve business problems.
  • Develop the ability to integrate business knowledge and management techniques to aid Planning and control in the contemporary business environment. 

PhD

The PhD program is designed to train highly competent academics and researchers in the field. The program will equip students with the necessary analytical skills for carrying out high-quality research in management. This program will train scholars to develop and test management theories that contribute to management education and practice. Hence, students will gain theoretical and practical knowledge of advanced research skills, essential for publishing in leading academic journals.

Program objectives

The specific objectives of the PhD Management program to:

  •  Establish or ensure that students possess the required academic foundations necessary to pursue doctoral studies in business.

Provide students with advanced theoretical, analytical and research training in their given fields of study, namely, human resource management, finance, marketing, entrepreneurship and project management.

  • Allow students to develop their PhD thesis upon solid theoretical grounds and also address relevant empirical questions.
  • Prepare students to publish in highly ranked international journals.
  • Prepare students for successful careers as researchers in the field.

2. 2 Years MBA for Business Graduates 30 16 years of relevant business education i.e., BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), M.Com (2 years) or equivalent of 16 years of education/HEC policy in the relevant disciplines and must have at least 2.50 CGPA or at least second division in annual system.
3. 2 Years MBA for Non-Business Graduates 30 16 years of education from any HEC recognized Institute/ University with a minimum CGPA 2.50 or at least second division in annual system.
4. MS 30 16 years of relevant business education i.e., BBA (Hons), B.Com (Hons), M.Com (2 years) or equivalent of 16 years of education/HEC policy in the relevant disciplines and must have at least 2.50 CGPA or at least second division in annual system.
5. PhD 15 Candidates with M Phil, MS, or equivalent 18 years of education / HEC policy in the relevant disciplines. GAT-Subject (NTS) with minimum cumulative score of 60 or Internal University Test with minimum   score 70% thereby fulfilling the university requirements.

The Vice Chancellor of Bacha Khan University, Charsadda (BKUC) and Meritorious Professor Dr. Bashir Ahmad urged the students of BKUC to participate in the Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan Innovation Summit 2022. Department of Agriculture, Department of Computer Science and Department of Management Sciences & Commerce participated in this summit and presented their projects/ideas among 35 participants from different universities and colleges. The Department of Management Sciences and Commerce under the team leadership of Dr. Muhammad Hamayun secured third position in “Ad making” competition prepared by the students of BBA (Hons) Musa Khan, Mehmood Akhtar and Sahibzada Sadiq.

The organizers of AWKUM Summit really appreciated and praised the active participation of BKUC students to compete in such events at the national level.
